“The biggest privilege of doing what I do is gaining access to all the beautiful and historic buildings in London, and the surrounding countryside.”

The Barbican

The Barbican

London

This is a venue with endless options open for any type of event. We have done large Indian weddings here. We have done Jewish wedding here with Chuppahs usually on the 4th level with a backdrop of the conservatory’s hanging garden. We have done many civil ceremonies here, with the ceremony performed in the Conservatory and then dinner and party in The Garden Room.

The Garden Room has been decorated for art gallery openings, corporate dinners, Christmas dinners, executive lunches, birthday parties, award ceremonies and charity functions.

The Barbican has a multitude of smaller sized rooms which can be used for product launches and meetings, most prominently The Fountain Room and The Mozart Suite. The Barbican can also offer exclusive use of the whole center for large product launches, conferences and degree ceremonies.

Berkeley Square

London

This is about as exclusive as it gets. Only one company is allowed to erect marquees on this lovely square and they will only allow an event with the highest specification. Obviously when you are here, go for the clear roof so you can see the trees lit at night and a seriously good air-conditioning system. The place is perfect as a wedding venue or for glamorous award ceremonies.

Dean Street Townhouse

London

One of my favourite little secrets. The venue is an entire Georgian House in Soho which you can use for a birthday, a product launch or a special art exhibition. Often used for fashion shows. The owner runs the place and that adds a lovely dimension to the place. Treat it with respect and you get some great stories of Soho life.

Forman’s Fish Island

London

The future of events venues! The lighting is incredible. The food is amazing. The people are down to earth and professional. AND the flowers are in a league of their own.

The GLA

London

The promise of partying in the corridors of power will assure that your guests turn up. The Livingroom Space at the top of the building has a great view and a liberating open and free feel.

The Hospital Club

London

With a pop star owner and an incredibly funky interior this has to be the venue of choice if you want a central London club venue. The decor is so colourful and interesting that it allows me as a florist to do almost anything as long as it is arty and an exhibit. Good for product launches, small dinners or small gatherings.

Il Bottaccio

London

A grand Georgian house with a large staircase and views overlooking the Buckingham Palace gardens. It feels like a white canvas because all the walls are painted white and it is kept completely empty. There are still elements in keeping with it’s period, like it’s gold cornicing and nice chandeliers. This place can do it all: weddings, club nights, themed parties, product launches, exhibitions, fashion shows, birthdays you name it.

The Kensington Roof Gardens

London

This is my favourite venue to come as a guest. The outside areas offer so many interesting spaces to explore and chat.

As a venue it offers a romantic setting for a wedding with lots of photo opportunities. It is great for product launches and award ceremonies. The lifts can be decorated, which makes for a great start to the event. The inside is incredibly flexible and can be reconfigured in lots of ways. And the venue really have sorted the lighting out to a top standard.

One Great George Street

London

Edwardian splendour in what used to be the Institue of Civil Engineers, which becomes apparant when you take in the magnificent ceiling mural in the great hall. A Westminster location for anyone who wants to be close to politics or just enjoy the Upstairs Downstairs feel of the venue and staff.

The Roundhouse

London

This is like a large magical circus space. The steam engine repair shed is unique in feel and look and an amazing performance space. We have been involved in award ceremony decoration projects here.

Tower Bridge

London

This is THE most difficult venue to set up and decorate for an event, but it’s worth it! As a guest it feels really special to have dinner in the long overhanging arms of the bridge or to be attending a very smart cocktail party or a special birthday.

Vinopolis

London

Vinopolis is a quite unique venue that offers absolute privacy under it’s emposing victorian railway arches. The setting also invites dramatic lighting and tall and striking floral displays. It is also a perfect setting if candle light is high on the agenda with no interference from natural light. I’m sure the wine cellar is not bad either.

College Garden at Westminster Abbey

London

This exclusive and tranquil venue is only open for bookings 3 weeks in July. The garden has only been open to the public for a very short time. When you are in the garden it feels like you are 20 miles outside the M25 except Big Ben is towering over one corner. They have a large marquee available and several smaller marquee options. The garden is part of the Westminster Abbey complex which offers many more venues within this World heritage site.
