About Yan
The most enjoyable part of my job is the initial meetings where I try to interpret the clients’ needs into a feasible reality using my knowledge and experience with each of the venues; I therefore build up a good report with my clients as I follow the project through to completion.
Some of the highlights of my career have included commissions for the Norwegian State visit in 2005 where I also decorated the Norwegian Royal Yacht and the Norwegian Ambassador’s residence but I also have enjoyed providing flowers at the Middle Temple on their 400th anniversary where Queen Margrete II of Denmark and her sister Anne Marie the former queen of the Hellenes in 2008 attended - followed by a private audience.
Another enjoyable event was the launch of Andre Botticelli’s album, where, as you could imagine, the accent was on fragrance!
I have had a long association with Aston Martin who are very much involved with the James Bond film launches including Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace.
My biggest event has been for over a thousand guests (125 tables) at an award dinner based at Excel and my smallest has been for an exclusive directors’ dinner at Cliveden.
The biggest privilege of doing what I do is gaining access to all the beautiful and historic buildings in London, castles and manor houses in the English countryside for wedding celebrations and product launches.
